Every good protagonist needs a good antagonist. Or rather every hero needs a villian. This is Ego Banks, the worlds greatest tax collector. He is incredibly evil and is the complete opposite of Gurume in every way. He is the richest man in Oak city and rubs it in everyones face. However Gurume is always there to put Ego in his place(or gurume's stomach). These 2 always clash with each other and more often then not, Gurume always comes out victorious. Nothing beats Gurume's gut. Also Ego cna control money with his Moneykensis, but even that fails against Gurume.
