Needless to say, the cold is here and it's looking rather....vicious.
Wanted to show how I felt about the winter. Believe it or not, this is actually a rejected character from Blessed Affliction. I replace him with Alpha. I think that's a fair trade, plus, this guy is not as cuddly.
Silent Snow is incredibly viscous. Not having any true gender or origin, Silent Snow exist simply to protect the bell hung around it's neck. The "White bell" is said to emit a most harmonious sound when rung. However, that ringing comes with a dire curse. Once the belly is rung, all other sounds will seem to stop almost instantly, then, the snow begin to fall. Even if it is summer. At this time you will see the snow falling harder and much faster. The only sound that you will seem to hear outside is the snow, and you will get the feeling that you are being watched, because you are. The being comes out as a 10 foot wolf that hunts down any and all who have heard the ringing of the white bell within ear shot. The being is simply known as "Silent Snow" as all of it's actions involve, not even the slightest of sounds.
No footsteps, no breathing, no heartbeat. Just an unearthly desire to punish those who have heard it's most precious treasure. It does not rest, it does not give up. It hunts until it has captured all who have offended it. With each new victim, the storm increases, and only stops when all who have heard the white bell are captured by the beast.
Despite it's might, Silent Snow does appear to have some weaknesses. It seems to detest fire, and can not go within a house with a fire. However, the beast is patient, and can wait for it's victims to go mad from cabin fever to come out for a chance of escape, only for the harsh winter to consume them within seconds. The only true way one is sure that Silent Snow has completed it's task, is by him letting out a long and blood chilling howl
